Babette and Denis have planted a berry orchard in one of the plots near their gites and campsite. They process all the fruit harvested, mainly into sorbets, on the farm. They look after this orchard as well as the aromatic and medicinal plant garden. Their aim was to create an extensive, organic orchard with wide, grass-covered inter-rows, so that biodiversity could flourish. Downstairs from the gîtes, a small PAM garden has been set up, giving off wonderful scents: lavender, rosemary thyme, helichrysum, verbena, savory, oregano, tarragon, marjoram, provins rose, calendula, etc. All these plants are hand-picked, dried and transformed into herbal teas, aromatics, massage oils and rose water.
