Logis de Barroux

A visit to the logis de Barroux includes a tour of the courtyard with its chapel, dovecote and medieval kitchen, as well as the garden with its bread oven. The logis de Barroux is an architectural synthesis of all logis in the region (defense system, enclosed courtyard of honor with noble house, chapel, dovecote, stables...). Its history is closely linked to that of our region: the Wars of Religion and the Vendée War, all of which still leave their mark. This visit is a real insight into the life of the nobility and peasants of the Middle Ages. The Logis can be visited during the summer season, or on request from the owner. In 2024, the Logis will be open to visitors from 12 pm to 6 pm from July 15 to 28, August 5 to 11 and 17 to 23, and from September 11 to 22. Admission is €5, free for children under 10.
