Cimetière marocain

It is a cemetery containing 26 graves of prisoners of the colonial army. It is located on the outskirts of the city, at the foot of the cement factory slag heap. After the departure of the Poles, the Germans used the site as a prison camp (Moroccans, Algerians, Senegalese, ...). It is not known how many prisoners were sheltered in the camp. After the war, 26 bodies were discovered under a pile of stones, the graves were immediately and symbolically arranged in memory of the prisoners who died in the camp.
