Fascinated by the icy whiteness of the poles, I try to bring out their creative beauty. Assembled, poured and twisted, the glass takes on the appearance of snow-covered ice, freezing in a struggle with changing weather conditions. The dichroic glass used in these creations (colored glass with a metallic appearance), topped with a rough-faceted crystal, diffracts warm or cold colors depending on the orientation of the light. The main technique used - fusing - involves assembling layers of cut, superimposed, engraved and decorated flat glass. High-temperature firing (approx. 800°) fuses the assembly into a single block.
